Electronics development enclosures
Design mock-ups for rugged boxes, connector interfaces, cable clearances and service access, before environmental and electromagnetic evaluation.
In demanding programmes, a part is only as useful as its documentation, fit and intended operating envelope. AMLAB explores non-weapon, non-critical prototypes and manufacturing aids, from protective electronics mock-ups to assembly fixtures, with explicit discussion of environmental constraints and verification.
For hardware teams, industrial integrators, electronics engineers and suppliers of dual-use equipment.
We begin with the functional requirement and choose a design and manufacturing route only after understanding what must be proven.
Application examples to start a technical conversation — not a portfolio of completed contracts.
Design mock-ups for rugged boxes, connector interfaces, cable clearances and service access, before environmental and electromagnetic evaluation.
Positioning tools, protective interfaces and repeatable assembly aids for integration work on the bench or shop floor.
Non-flight, non-weapon development holders, laboratory brackets and instrumentation mounts designed for specific test setups.
Protective covers, identification aids, dedicated storage inserts and replacement tooling where permitted and appropriate.
These are the questions we bring to the table before recommending a process.
Discuss a project ↗Temperature, vibration, fluids, mechanical shocks and electrostatic requirements are specified, not assumed.
Connector envelope, mating features, clearances, fastening and inspection points.
Revision IDs, approved drawings, material batches and any customer-required inspection records.
Applicable export controls, information security, end use and qualification are evaluated before accepting work.
Processes below are starting options, not promises of in-house machine availability.
Fast integration models and industrial fixtures, subject to material review.
Potential for complex polymer housings and repeatable geometry.
Machined interfaces and fixtures requiring specific material behaviour.
An integration team needs to check access to a connector panel. Starting from interface drawings, we develop a dimensional enclosure mock-up, check service clearance with the assembly team and revise the geometry before any separate qualification or production decision.
↗ No claim of military certification, approval for safety-critical systems or defence customers is implied. Work is subject to end-use and regulatory review.
No blanket claim is made. Each project needs a defined end use, evidence, approvals and a suitable qualified supply chain where required.
Share only non-sensitive information initially. Security, data handling, export requirements and confidentiality arrangements must be agreed before restricted files are transferred.
Early integration, fit checks, lightweight non-critical fixtures and low-volume manufacturing aids, provided the performance envelope is suitable.
Share your application, constraints and target quantities. We will assess the right next step together.
