Architectural features
Parametric wall panels, decorative screens, textured surfaces and modular details that conventional tooling would make difficult or costly.
From a custom pendant to a statement wall, digital manufacturing expands the vocabulary of interiors. AMLAB can help design and prototype complex, repeatable or one-off elements while considering installation, finishing and daily use.
For architects, interior designers, furniture studios, hospitality brands and exhibition teams.
We begin with the functional requirement and choose a design and manufacturing route only after understanding what must be proven.
Application examples to start a technical conversation — not a portfolio of completed contracts.
Parametric wall panels, decorative screens, textured surfaces and modular details that conventional tooling would make difficult or costly.
Diffusers, expressive lamp housings and sculptural forms developed with attention to translucency, heat sources, assembly and maintenance.
Handles, bespoke joints, accent components, branded hardware and decorative details designed around a specific furniture piece or environment.
Scale models, full-size mock-ups and modular mock-ups to evaluate spatial perception, attachment points and the final look before committing to installation.
These are the questions we bring to the table before recommending a process.
Discuss a project ↗Texture, visibility of layer lines, sanding, coating, colour and sample approval.
Indoor or outdoor exposure, light, humidity, cleaning, impact, heat, and if applicable fire performance.
Split lines, concealed fixing, transport dimensions, assembly sequence and tolerance to existing architecture.
Parameterised geometries, variant management, repeatability and controlled costs.
Processes below are starting options, not promises of in-house machine availability.
Larger mock-ups, structural cores and quick iteration.
Fine-detail masters and small precision design elements.
Complex interlocking parts and repeatable geometries.
A hotel needs a signature feature with no off-the-shelf equivalent. We start from sketches or a 3D model, review the intended mounting and finish, manufacture a small material/texture sample, then evaluate a full-scale module before deciding how to divide and produce the installation.
↗ Illustrative applications, not claims of completed AMLAB installations. Building and fire classifications require project-specific evidence.
Often as modular elements, depending on geometry, process and installation requirements. We evaluate joins and transport early.
Many finishes are possible, but visual and tactile approval should be based on a physical sample of the chosen material and treatment.
Potentially, but fire behaviour, installation safety, cleaning and any local building requirements must be assessed per project.
Share your application, constraints and target quantities. We will assess the right next step together.
