ENGINEER THE
NEXT MOVE.

Vehicle programmes involve a long sequence of decisions on fit, packaging, thermal space and how to build or test new assemblies. AMLAB can contribute rapid non-safety-critical concepts and fixtures that make decisions tangible before conventional tooling is justified.

TURN COMPLEXITY
INTO A WORKABLE PART.

For component suppliers, EV developers, mobility startups and motorsport engineering teams.

We begin with the functional requirement and choose a design and manufacturing route only after understanding what must be proven.

APPLICATION NOTE

WHERE WE CAN
ADD VALUE.

Application examples to start a technical conversation — not a portfolio of completed contracts.

01 / 04

Packaging & fit mock-ups

Dashboard, console and component packaging models for access, visibility and integration reviews.

02 / 04

Test rig hardware

Laboratory brackets, sensor interfaces and repeatable fixture geometry for prototype evaluation.

03 / 04

Assembly aids

Tooling and positioning interfaces developed around production-line constraints and operator needs.

04 / 04

Low-volume accessories

Non-critical custom housings, brackets and decorative or ergonomic components where process capabilities fit.

THE DETAILS
CHANGE
EVERYTHING.

These are the questions we bring to the table before recommending a process.

01

Temperature & ageing

Cabin heat, sunlight, fluids and long-term exposure.

02

Loads & dynamics

Vibration, impacts, mating forces and fatigue.

03

Fit & appearance

Surface class, colour, tactile expectations and assembly tolerances.

04

Functional scope

Safety-critical and homologated use cases require independent qualification.

NOT EVERY PART
NEEDS THE SAME PROCESS.

Processes below are starting options, not promises of in-house machine availability.

IMAGINE THE BRIEF

FROM THE QUESTION
TO THE FIRST PROTOTYPE.

A mobility startup is evaluating where a sensor fits inside a prototype vehicle. We print a bracket and enclosure mock-up, check cable paths and mounting access, and revise the design before testing any production-grade solution.

↗ Illustrative examples; no homologation or certification for road-use or safety-critical components is implied.

BEFORE WE
GET STARTED.

01Do you supply homologated vehicle components?

We do not claim general automotive homologation. Safety-critical or road-approved applications require dedicated evidence and approvals.

02Can you help before design freeze?

That is often the most valuable time for prototyping: a fast model can expose fit issues while geometry is still adjustable.

03Can you produce small batches?

Potentially, after evaluating materials, repeatability, surface quality and total cost against alternative routes.
